Now that he's going with Virgil, do you expect Khan to be better than he was when he fought Maidana? I always thought that was his best performance.

Khan doesnt even deserve a world class trainer like virgil.

he'll try to blame him and **** on him once his glass gets shattered again.

Better, I don't necessarily expect he would or not be. I do doubt that he will change the general level of fighter he is though. He's still B-B+. Which is very fine, but not great. Not within the level of those I'd call borderline greats, at the least.

Maybe if he changes his style and becomes a more defensive fighter. He was doing fine in the Garcia fight before he got clocked

I think the main problem with Khan in the Garcia fight was his temper. He lost his cool with Angel's trash talking and was looking to brawl with a brawler. Virgil's main task IMO, is to remind him to box and not brawl. But I agree, he's not going to rise above B+.

He looked like a barroom brawler in the sparring before and during that fight. Against Maidana, he was in and out, covering up and setting up shots.

He might be slightly improved. From what I understand, Virgil is pretty tough on Andre during preparations. It might be something that Khan needs, but who knows if he takes to it?

At any rate, I don't think he jumps up into the next class of fighter.

    Sure, why not.

Nothing can fix that chin, though.

he'll never be what he was before cause now everyone knows how chinny he really is but virgil can guide him to another title if he's matched carefully against people who cannot punch and waits til a title is vacant to fight some random featherfisted guy for it.

    No.

Khan doesn't have the talent, skill, and most importantly, BRAINS that Ward has.

He'll feast on a few bums, and his groupies will swear that he's "back".

Then eventually, he'll get caught with a big punch again, and once again put to sleep.
