You have to remember ban Usyk would beat Foreman /Liston/ Shavers/ Klitcko all at the same time with one arm behind his back

I think Usyk has drastically declined in terms of speed, reflexes, reaction times, fluidity, accuracy. I've been saying this for years

I've been a fan of his since 2008 and I was a fan of Belly's since his pro debut up until recently

It's not a given he would stop him, no. But given the fact that this slow and sluggish version came within a whisker of doing so there's a good chance he would've

Belly despites his gargantuan dimensions, when in actual good shape for him as he was against Usyk, is still fast, fluid and agile and he still looks very good.

Cutting the title distance from 15 to 12 is the real reason for the increase of controversial decisions. The judges job got harder they didn't really get any worse at it. 12 is also an even number.

They should make it 14 or 15 while making the rounds shorter so the fights stay the same length.

Haven't read the whole thread. But personally, I'm pretty crap tbh. Especially if it's a BIG fight and I'm personally invested in a fighter on the night ( Add in a bottle or two of red wine....;) ) when I'm full of passion.

Ask Shadow what he thinks, He believes punches to the arm & shoulders are deliberate scoring punches. So THAT is how Floyd's shoulder roll defense scores so highly ?? lol

    A man of culture.

Also, you're not bad. Acknowledging that you carry implicit bias in fights is half the battle; many people mistakenly believe they are impartial because they can't admit that much.

A lot of viewers "score" a fight while they're watching for entertainment, maybe while getting drunk with a bunch of friends. Actually scoring a fight takes concentration and isn't fun. It also seems to me that lately defence is being weighted equal to clean effective punching by many which I feel is wrong. I place a strong emphasis on clean effective punches but I rarely score a fight while watching live because as I said, it ruins the fun of it.

And overtrained version. I recently saw his interview with Polish sports channel, when he said he never trained 9 months in a row. He usually train 3 months (he started his camp for the rematch just now). Belly rescheduling the fight 2 times made him work extra hard. Let's see if he's fresher this time around.

Thanks. Yes, hopefully that's what it was. He trains crazy hard as it is, too hard IMO, so having to train over that length of time would've been counter productive

That being said, he's still declined a lot over the years and it's very noticeable

100%, you can even see a noticable decline from AJ I to AJ II fights. AJ I is in my opinion his best performance to date.

Yep. AJ I is by far the best he's looked since moving up to HW. He looked so much sharper and quicker and was very elusive and difficult to pin down even though he wasn't boxing on the back foot at all.

I’m not great at scoring fights, I watch them live and get caught up in the hype and then miss rounds by taking shite on the round by rounds on here. Then when I try re score a fight I end up with an agenda to find a a result.
I struggle to focus on scoring shots and just focus on what I like.
I can watch a fight 3 times and get three different results.
But I have to say that iam probably worse at predicting fights than scoring

Most people on this board cannot score a boxing match; but I trust maybe half a dozen of them more than I trust the judges. There is no self-correcting mechanism for either group. If you got hit with an electric shock for bad scores then people would shape up.
