No, he's was at 140 on fight night versus Morales to 149 on fight night versus Cotto. He's always had stamina and power specially with his left hand. He's improved his right hand, and anyone will tell you the punches that you don't see are the punches that hurt. Strength doesn't always equate to Power in boxing. He came in at 144 for Marquez and 149 for Cotto on fight night, 5lbs really that's suppose to make him really slow. He was dehydrated for the Barrera and Marquez fights putting in 15lbs on fight night. Improving your technique can make you better. He's had a history of sparring with bigger fighters, welters for Morales and middles for DLH. No amount of HGH, EPO, or what ever steroids will help your chin, a well placed shot that disrupt the normal pattern of your neurons will cause a knock out.

You say you don't think he has, why don't you ask PBF to drop the unreasonable demand instead?

Conte pretty much blew the HGH accusations into pieces.

"One, I think that increasing hematocrit levels, whether it’s by traditional blood-doping or the use of EPO, is of greater benefit to a boxer than the use of growth-hormone," he explained."So growth-hormone is more of an anti-catobolic agent that may help to accelerate the healing of the tissue repair process. But growth-hormone is not anabolic as an anabolic steroid. It’s an anti-catabolic agent and I believe that you don’t get a very big bang for your buck. I’m not a huge fan of growth-hormone. I don’t think it’s tremendously beneficial performance enhancing substance.

"EPO, though, in terms of boxing, is absolutely huge, both in training and as well as in a fight, especially during the later rounds."

    From MayoClinic:

Studies of healthy adults taking human growth hormone are limited. Although it appears that human growth hormone injections can increase muscle mass and reduce the amount of body fat in healthy older adults, the increase in muscle doesn't translate into increased strength. In fact, researchers have found that strength training is a cheaper, more effective way to increase muscle mass and strength.

I'm positive he hasn't, as positive as I am that Toney, Vargas, Mosley, etc. never have either.

There are some natural ways to increase red cell count- food supplements containing Chlorophyll are very effective and available in tablets and Wheatgrass juice - resting in hypobaric chambers or high altitude training where you can limit the amount of oxygen.. this really helps too.

  7. I have no reason to believe Manny or Floyd have ever taken performance enhancing drugs. Why would I? I've seen no evidence to come to that conclusion.

Hey, that's the Sugar Shane Mosley defense. I feel like a broken record. I think he hasn't but if he did, that excuse won't cut it. You can't bull**** like Mosley and cry foul cuz the trainer juiced your junk.

It's your junk, you should know what's going on with it.
