He's not annoying, he's simply there to whip thousands of screaming drunk fans into a frenzy, and he does it quite well.

 

Saying they should give Mat Hamil a mic is low.

 

ABSO -****ING- LUTELY. I actually HAVE to forward through his bull**** i find him that annoying. He is by far the WORST MC i have EVER heard. He's so unbelievably **** its terrifying. I hope one day he does a 720 and spins his ******ed ass into oblivion.

 

Too bad Michael Buffer isn't announcing..I love that "let's get really to ruuuuuuumble" That's classic.

Matt Hammil is deaf, he cant speak very well as a result.

now, to say matt Hammil is a better announcer than Bruce buffer is an insult to both of them.


My pesonal oppinion is that michael buffer and Bruce buffer are the same as Julia Roberts and Eric Roberts. One sibling has all the talent.

 

I always forward through him, he's awful, as his 'It's time', god awful!


Michael Buffer is brilliant, the best, never miss him. Jimmy Lennon is also good.

 

Agreed, the It's Time phrase is crap imo.

He did a sweet jump in the air during his introductions for the Nog fight last week...what the heck? He doesn't have any form of "unique" voice that captures audiences like big bro, or even the dude who does Showtime boxing "iiiiit's showtime!"

Bruce's "iiit's TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!!" Drives me crazy. I mute it during his time on screen.

 

Oh come on, you honestly don't think Bruce gets the crowd as amped as Michael or Jimmy Lennon? Not sure about the rest of you, but Jimmy Lennon's voice puts me to sleep.

I don't know what you're watching. If anything, UFC fans are the loudest of the bunch. I for one get completely JACKED listening to him do main events.

I can see the dislike for Bruce Buffer's style, but noone can say that he doesn't fire up the viewers, which in my book makes him no less of an announcer when comparing him to his brother.

 

He's no Howard Finkel though

 

He sucks.. I don't know how he got the job to be honest.. His voice is not unique, he just yells. And all that jumping and jerking around is stupid. Watch Michael or Jimmy, they do it effortless, it's natural and just flows out.

He's the worst mc that I can think of.

 

I do think he's annoying. Not a big fan on the overall production of UFC. Could be much better.
