I voted rarely, and that was generous.

Apart from the Lacy performance and maybe the Kessler fight, I'd say "no way Jose".

Just not my kind of thing.

yeah i think he's been very entertaining against most of his opponents.I saw a little bit of slapping in the kessler fight, a lot in the hopkins fight, and almost none in the jones fight. He looked bad against hopkins but then again who doesn't?

Exciting in the sense that it's so 'wrong' i can't believe he keeps winning but in a conventional sense not really. Of the last few years only Lacy and Kessler have been good to watch.

These days, he's reluctant to get involved with brawls as he enjoyed so much in his early career. The most exciting fights were when he stood toe to toe with Mitchell, Sheika, Eubank & Veit. He got clobbered a lot but still came back firing. Those were exciting fights. But for the most part, and especially in the last couple of years, he's been content to box his way through 12 rounds. He's not as exciting as he was.

    a mixture.

at time's he's fun to watch. blowing out veit and sheika. living on the edge towards the end of the eubank bout. humiliating lacy and outclassing kessler. trading with brewer and the two round encounter with mitchell.

at times though he can also look garbage. hopkins, salem, bika, ashira and starie were all terrible fights.

No, I don't find Joe exciting to watch at all. He's had the odd good fight, but in general terms he is not the type of fighter I like as there never seems to be the chance of a stoppage either way, unless he's fighting someone **** like Manfredo - but even then the stoppage is a slap-flurry and not a proper KO. His punching is far more about quantity than quality.

It's like watching a windmill. Of course it's exciting. He fights to his opponents' strength sometimes, making the fight a show.

Of all his fights, I only remember 5 that sucked hard, and that was because his opponents on those fights were real *******s that his style would look ugly against.

Early in his career Calzaghe was a pretty exciting fighter and had good power in his hands look at his fight with Byron Mitchell for example so yes he can be an occasionally exciting fighter at times.
