Do you find more satisfaction in a beloved fighter winning, or in a hated one losing?

My thoughts exactly. That fight was probably the most satisfying thing I have witnessed so far. And I was a huge Terrible fan (my favorite fighter of all time), but mosley KO'ing that cheat **** margo felt better than Terrible beating Pacman.

    Both equally...

Pacquiao's KO loss was so satisfying

And Bradley edging out Provo was just as satisfying

Now as me how I felt when Bradley won a decision over Pacquiao??? Muhahahaha!!!

People picking the second option are probably the type that troll and **** on fighters because they spend more time actively hating than they do liking the actual participants of the sport.

Though like Scar said if you truly dislike only a handful I could see it being sweeter as the rarer experience. I can't remember the last time it happened but I'm sure it has and I'd feel bad a bit regardless.

Probably the second option for me. I feel more relief than anything when my favorite fighters win. It's probably because the feeling I have gotten when I watched my favorite fighters get KO'd was so bad and I'm relieved that I'm not going to have to experience that feeling. Whereas when I watch a fighter I hate lose, or get KO'd, I feel a sense of justice being served.

Out of interest, why do you hate/did you hate Bute?

Unfortunately, it has to do more with the fans than with the actual boxer... I guess sometimes it becomes necessary, so some annoying/arrogant (*****) fans (and delusionals at times) are stfu.

... same can be said about other sports. Baseball (NYY), Basketball (Bulls), Football (soccer, Brazil).... up to this date, for many Brazilian fans, Brazil has never really lost or been defeated fairly... there always has been because they have destroyed themselves, rather than been defeated on the pitch.

When my guy wins, though sometimes the former can be a close second.

Fighters that get under my skin are scarce, Haye did a fine job recently, but I admit finding satisfaction when an Arum/Sulaiman protected fighter gets his ass handed to him. Poor Pac and Chavez, but I admit of enjoying their loss more than the win of two of my favorites. Couldn't help but grow bitter about boxing after JMM-Pac 3 and other alphabet, media or scoring bull****, I enjoyed the losses and up your ass you corrupt mother****ers **** because of that. Hopefully this year will restore my faith in the sport, but we already have some clear robberies.

I know exactly what you mean, BB!

This is why the only reasonable way forward for me was not to care about the scoring or even the refereeing, but instead to concentrate on the performance of each fighter, and enjoy the show. Have I give up? I hope not! :conf

I enjoy an upset more than anything. I find myself rooting for the underdog in almost all situations.
