I tried to get into MMA, but just couldn't . I recpect these guys as much as boxers but just not somethig I was able to get into. I wish they got paid more, I hear about their purses & believe they are very under paid.

I remember UFC 1 and used to watch it back then when it was basically no holds barred, but it got old fast. It's not intriguing.

I like the way it's structured, the best have to fight the best, don't like that he gets all the coin. Boxing would be huge if it had ufcs organization.

I would not like it to be like in the UFC guys are ****ing risking their life every night and get payed ****, seriously real slave organization, dont get me wrong I'm not deluded that boxing promoters are good but Dana is something else, until best fighters in UFC dont become their own man Dana will continue to take their money.

Dana White even makes Bob Arum look like a saint.

I always wonder why they ask Dana White his opinion on boxing because he definitely DKSAB.

I follow both but I'm a much bigger fan of boxing than MMA. I am immediately frustrated as soon as the ground game starts in MMA. I don't mind grappling when the fighters are actively working for a submission or ground n pound...but lately every fight ends up on the floor with nothing happening and the ref just lets them hump away til the round ends...I don't care if a guy is in full mount...it's not really a dominant position if he's doing NOTHING with it...the refs need to stand the fighters up MUCH more regularly. That **** is ruining the sport for me. I've seen every UFC event...and hundreds of other smaller events from all over the world but its getting to the point where I almost have to be drunk to watch it lol. I'd rather watch Glory kickboxing than UFC nowadays. That **** is becoming more and more entertaining again...bunch of massive dudes who are proficient strikers with TERRIBLE defense...recipe for entertainment haha. Check out Glory if you haven't.

    Someone already mentioned Glory lol

LOL. The site has a lot of Down-low UFC fans who seem to be ashamed to participate in the poll.
Over 120 view and only 24 responders.

For skill and strategy I love boxing, for entertainment value I watch a UFC fight every now and then.

My guess is this (option 2) is true for the majority of ESB posters.
The poll is just off because it seems some are reluctant to fess up.
