Do you get irritated by arm punchers or fighters who don't pivot their feet when punching?

I find it awful aesthetically, but sometimes there are sound strategic reasons for sacrificing punching power for more speed and a better chance of making contact.

He certainly gets an honorable mention, I was on hand when fought Aereola at Staples and I felt the same way...
Same could be said for the Lewis fight, lewis was there for the taking those first couple rounds but Vitali refused to commit to any real punches and Lewis came back and mangled his face

    Not really. Not necessarily.
I guess, for me, it often depends on what effect I think the punch or punches are having on the fighter they are landing on.
I hate pure "shoe shining" and I don't give a fighter credit for merely "touch and not get touched".
But if an arm puncher is hurting, cutting, brusing or stunning .... or clearly disrupting the opponent's balance with his taps combined with good movement .... or flicking his jab to set up stiffer jabs and crosses ..... well, it all has its place.

Non-punching heavyweights aren't the most engaging, but I'm totally fine with it. It's a perfectly valid technique IMO.

I remember the first time I saw the nickname, I was thinking "surprising that a Latino guy would be named Gerald Washington."

    Then it dawned on me...

I step into all my power punches, including jab, hook, cross, overhand...sometimes even my uppercuts. It could just be how I'm built (5'11" 250) but it ensures that I get my body behind my punches (to devastating effect). Stepping into punches means a fighter has to be 100% on top of their foot placement game, though. I wouldn't reccomend it to beginning fighters because they could end up off balance during crucial moments of a fight.
