Do you guys agree on the Split Decision win for Hovhannisyan?

i had it a draw but cant really complain as it was a close fight.

id like to see it again

I was leaning towards Acosta...
But I'm cool with the decision.
(Watching last night tho, I was fine w/ The Caiz card)

 

I had it a draw, 94-94.

I was OK with all the scores both ways.

 

I think the judges got it right, as I had it 95-93 Hov. It all came down to round 9 on most people's cards (including judges, and posters here). Round 9 was so damn close. I gave it to Hov, but I questioned myself.

I thought rounds 1-4 were pretty clear Hov rounds, whereas rounds 5-8 were pretty clear Acosta rounds. They each scored a KD. Round 10 was another good, tight round, but I think Hov edged it. It's all about round 9.

So seeing as how I couldn't really make my mind up, and saw it either way, 95-93 Hov is perfectly fair. Anything from a draw, to 95-93 either way would have been acceptable.

 

Too bad I missed this one. Sounds like a good fight. I like Acosta he's got top level skills and is always in good fights. Don't know much about the other guy so I'll have to check this one out.

 

It was interesting, but honestly not great in terms of action.

I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to watch it knowing the result.

 

I thought Acosta won...

 

If he hadn't almost got ktfo, he probably would have won it. But being a foreigner, maybe still not even.
