The bantamweight division is red-hot right now. Donaire, Montiel, Mares, Perez, Darchicken. All quality fighers. But the best thing is the fact that all of the fights in that division are excellent, Mares-Perez was quality, Agbeko-Darchicken was even better, and Agbeko-Perez was arguably fight of the year. Add that to a superb fighter in Montiel, and a P4P contender in Donaire, you've got a superb division with superb fights. I wasn't interested in the division until recently, but I have quickly realised how good it actually is.

If I ever have insomnia, I have the sure fire cure: watch a Klitchko fight.

I love boxing, but any weight class lower than Junior welterweight seems to have a revolving door for their championships, rarely seeing a dominant champ for more than a few fights.

I know their are some great fighters at all the classes, but they come and go to quickly, and rarely produce the kind of devastating KOs or the dominating onesided decisions we love to see.

Errr, you get this at HW too. Did you not see Holyfield fight? Maybe its not because their so weak, but just the opponent has a really good chin.

Get to a boxing gym, spar a seasoned FW, ask him to try knock you out and see if you last 30 seconds.

Like I said there are some exceptions to the rule. Those include Barrera, Morales, Darchinyan. etc. But other than these very select few I have always been disappointed when I watched lower weight fights if they are people I haven't heard of. So if I see Shobox is on Friday and tune in, if it is a lightweight or below I have never heard of I will not watch it, unless it is someone I have heard is very good(usually after the fight). Now if it is a welterweight or above I am more inclined to watch it and feel the fights are much more entertaining. I feel it's like watching Pauli Malinaggi fight himself. Who really cares to watch him fight in the first place, especially when he is so feather fisted that defense and landing punches doesn't mean as much.

First, if you got hit clean by Juanma you're ass is going down no matter how big you are. Second, they're not as small as the divisions make them seem, they're all cutting weight and coming in bigger.

Yeah, I like watching the little guys, and the speed and the kos are there. That's what makes Pac so great, he's bringing featherweight speed of offence to the welterweights.
