Do you guys ever stop to think that all of this PBF/Pac is hype?

Or people will get so pissed off and move on

 

I'm firmly behind Pac on this issue.

I won't go into why as I've explained my position numerous times on other threads.

You really can't take Mayweather seriously here, if we take him at his literal word.


However, Since he's not a stupid man, I have been wondering for a while now if the whole controversy is not a hype job.

This fight didn't need much hype, but it is now on the radar of many non-fans who now might want to watch


So in short, you could well be right. I hope so.


This is a 50-50 affair that I would really like to see.

 

Personaly im sick of all the hype but maybe it 6 months or so i could get back into it

They will fight each other when one of them loses and is forced into the fight, the fight will stink due to Mayweathers movement (running) and people will be pissed off.

 

HOW THE **** IS MOVEMENT RUNNING....and if that is the case why is floyd 40-0 and why can't any RUNNER in good shape be a world champion??

Hype. I think Mayweather wants another fight to shake off any lingering doubts about ring rust. Pacman is taking a serious risk with Clottey though.

 

Floyd doesn't care about 2 of the 3 and I'm sure he can gain the 3rd fighting other opponents.

I gave thought that it would be hype...but that's just optimism. Everytime a big fight falls to ****, somebody says they're just hyping it up. Then the fight doesn't happen and we're all left sitting around going "WTF?!"

Never underestimate boxing politics in its ability to **** up a good thing.

 

The fight will happen, there too much to lose, financially, legacy wise for it not to. whatever the reasons for it not happening this spring, whatever. it will happen this year no doubt
