How is it of value in any way? It's been proven fraudulent, over and over, and often used as a propaganda tool to try and sway viewer opinion.
That doesn't make sense. lol. CompuBox isn't meaningful regardless of how many fights, due to its fraudulent nature.
Statistically errors cancel each others. You can get a lot of usefull information looking at overall compubox stats of a boxer in many fights. When does he get bussier, his expected activity, and how much does he all-in and when, for instance. One single fight is useless, because of the biases and mistakes. If you think that makes no sense, ok, good for you, i'm not a teacher.
I do not rely upon Compu-Box to determine who wins a round. I normally have a firm opinion about who won it and rarely does that opinion change- even after I re-watch fights. I do find Compu-Box interesting to check if I feel a round has been very close. Most of the time Compu-Box also has the round as a close one, though not always. I believe it to be just another tool we have in reviewing fights- neither good, nor bad, nor crap, nor perfect.
Can you please point me to where it's shown to be fraudulent? I'm sure there are plenty of errors, but fraud? Thanks. It is of some value, because even though there are errors, it does provide useful information from time to time. One just has to remember not to trust it blindly, that's all. At the end of the day it's someone's opinion and judgement, which may or may not be of value.
I've never heard of a brother losing his wife to white guy. Not saying it doesn't happen but it's very unlikely.
Using methods already proven to be inaccurate most of the time makes any general trends gleaned from that dara, useless.
I share your view and place more confidence in compubox than the opinions of people claiming close fights were robberies when they plainly couldn't score a fight to save their life.
