PolishNavy thats all true talk. I respect you for your vast intelligence. In a sea of simpletons on this board it is a rare treat that somebody of your intellectual firepower to show up. I love you man.
Ali was 39 and already showing signs of Parkinsons....anybody who knows anything about Boxing knows Ali should never been allowed to take that fight....was one of the saddest things I have ever witnessed in Boxing.!!!!
Surely if Ali was so vulnerable to body punches you can easily provide ample video evidence of the several times you claimed he was knocked down from body punches? Don't bother posting the Wepner fight as that wasn't a legit knockdown. Still you have several other instances to choose from, right? Why bring ATGs into the equation, according to you Dereck Chisora is more than capable of defeating Ali.
Big difference between Son of God and a billy goat. maybe you should leave the farm more often and ride into town on a jackass.
So What ? http://www.thefightcity.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/22222robinson-maxim.jpg Re: thread question: Yes, Ali was the GOAT at HW.
Big Lenny Lewis Gives little George Foreman a reason to go down and stay down anytime after 5 rounds. Whats George gonna do with a bigger stronger man who is a better puncher
You can make a good case for Ali being the GOAT at HW. You can also make a good case for Ali being overrated as well. People tend to gloss over his flaws and paint him as invincible whereas he was beatable. What he had going for him was great natural ability coupled with a huge drive to succeed. You have to respect that. In my mind things like top10 lists are not set in stone, because of fluctuations in performance, stylistic matchups, favourable match making etc. I'd say he's a lock for top 3 HW and if people say he's #1 I have no problem with that.
Major respect to Lewis. He is in my Top 5. Still got George numbers wise #1 but Lennox Lewis beat everyone he ever fought. Bad axx fo sho.
