Uh, I'd say the guy who handed Kessler his first '0' was his toughest test, wouldn't you agree? :hey

Exactly Josey, Taylor was good when he had HBO and everyone else on his side when they wanted rid of Hopkins, then he shat himself at the first sign of genuine opposition (Pavlik).

Taylor didn't know what to do with his belts once he'd been served them up on a silver platter, which is why he was so ordinary vs the likes of Ouma, Spinks.

Basically, when you've been given something instead of having to work for it, the motivation isn't there to fight for it.

I just watched Mayweather vs Hatton. Thought HBO were shithouse. Mayweather was sparkling and the commentators weren't saying ****.

Apparently he makes it well and aside from the time when he had to drop his dacks during the Calzaghe fight, he has never had a problem.

As big as he looks, he makes it pretty comfortably, and we've never seen him fight above smw.

Even if he has had to drain to make weight, then it's still the same Kessler that we've been seeing for the last 5 years, and from what I've seen I'd easily pick him over taylor.

I tend to think Bute actually might get found out against Andrade. Anyone else think this aswell?

I have seen Bute get KO'd in the amateurs.

So what your saying is basically Mandy ran away from kessler @ 168lbs and is targeting a weakish German Middle to capture Legit title @ Middle then will move back up to 168lbs to fight Taylor IF Taylor does the hard work and defeats the winner of Froch & Pascal . lol What a hero .

Not so much a hero Josey. But a smart business man.

If he had gone the Kessler way. Its highly likely he wouldn't have got the chance to be in some big fights in the US.

    This way he will.

Yes i agree if thats the way he is going about things then yes he is a smart buisnessman but on no account down the pipe will anyone ever be able to say he didn't duck kessler because we all know now he did and for what reason he did it . You know something BTT i really hope he does beat Strum and Froch beats Pascal , that way we will see just how good he is , if he gets past Taylor of course, i realise its all about the money with Mandy but most fighters when they start off are desperate to win a world title but that dosen't seem to be the case with him does it ? he's had years fighting PPV in Australia and now that Lemon had dried up he's after the Yank lemon .

The lemons not dry Josey. Hes played it safe over the past 24 months and sure he has lost a lot of fans. And he hasn't gained as many as he could. And hes wasted potential, and could be a lot better at this time of his career. But its building for a late run. Yes i hope they do meet in the future.

It would be fascinating to see how Froch goes against Pascal.

Thats the saddest part of it mate it would only take for him to fight a Named fighter and the fans would come runing back imo, however its his reluctance to take a risk v the likes of Kessler that has resulted in him robbing said fans of decent matchup's and feeding us a steady diet of cabbies :-( I hope we are all about this time next year , either you will be proved right and me wrong or vice versa .

Dont think he will be exposed. He beat Bika - thats enought for me to suggest he isnt a TOTAL fraud. One can agree he hasnt faced anything almighty but he has certainly earnt his current position. Its a little too hard (for me at least) to make a conclusive prediction on Bute.

I agree Kessler beats Taylor, he beats him the same way Pavlik did - pressure and nice straight clean crisp punches from the outside.

Taylor v Mundine is a very evenly matched fight.

Mundine v Pavlik, well as much as ppl dont want to hear it Pavlik just struggles when he target moves. If Taylor wasnt so lazy in the ring he could have beaten Pavlik. IMO Mundine has a way better chance of beating Pav than he does of beating Taylor.

It is a disgrace Taylor dodged Froch cause he would have whipped that slow ass til it bled.
