I think Froch should still beat Pascal. I don't have Pascal in my top 10 at 168.

With Calzaghe relinquishing his WBC version of the title, Froch will fight at home in Nottingham, England, against Canada's Jean Pascal for the vacant belt.
    Next: Dec. 6 vs. Pascal.

    (Courtesy of Dan Rafael).

Im suprised the fights still so long away. They should have scheduled it earlier.

Big pay day none the less for Froch?

lol at this title, there is no way in the world mundine has the balls and the fight in him to fight the way bernard did, hopkins is a legend, hes a fighter, hes like an animal in the ring, he just doesnt swarm he takes tactics into the fight and uses them accordingly, in saying that pavlik looked shocking but to me that was all hopkins beating him to the punch all night long, from the first round i think he took his will to win away....
mundine would of been on the run and motoring and barely would of won 3 rounds against pavlik, he would of been knocked out if he gave the same opportunity that he gave crazy kim...

yeah maco, i agree, mundine cant move like b hop, that was pure anger and will, along with elite boxing skills.

pav tried but it wasnt near enought against b hop.

i just cant see mundine doin any good at all against pav at middle, if he survived the distance goin on his recent form, id be ****in amazed!

Froch is a poor mans version of Kelly Pavlik, as soon as he fights someone half decent he will get exposed.

Mundine wld box his ears off just like the Green fight.

Actually Green wld knock Froch out.

I went to a froch fight whilst living in that shithole Nottingham, and he is extremely overrated. Don't know too much about Pascal to say he will win or not.

We're all aging - and these are prime years for Mundine (2006/2007/2008). He is 33 and half already and there's no sign of the big fight in sight.

He's talked the talk of a hero willing to take on all comers and instead just bided his time with comparative easy beats one after the other.

That's what pisses half of Australia off (the boxing fans). Mundine talks-the-talk but refuses to even attempt to walk-the-walk. Tell me I've got it wrong!

I think you have it wrong. Apart from the knockdown against Kim, we all saw improvements in his combinations. Which is all he needs to improve to be a well skilled, well rounded fighter.

I do think he has another 4 years left in him. He knows that to!

P.S I just watched Pavlik/Hopkins again. And i have to say. If the fights at 168. Im going to unload my sportingbet account on Choc.

Anthony wouldn't even be a blip on Pavlik's radar. It'd be at 160 anyway, so it's irrelevant.

He may have improved his combos slightly. But he'll get slower, not quicker.

I doubt he'll ever step up while he can continue to make easy $$$ in easy fights, and if he does he'll probably leave his run too late.
