Josey what do you think of Carl Frochs record? I mean hes fought 20 so called 'Bums'. Yet it gets overlooked because he has called out some big names over the past 6 months.

It would appear that BoxingTrashTalk is not in fact someone in Mundine's camp, but rather, a 16 year old nuthugger with no idea :yep

Not so much in his camp. I do know people that are. I attend training/sparring sessions to watch regularly. I get information a lot earlier.

The guy trains at his home gym. And has a manager. Theres practically 3 people calling the shots.

Josey i remember reading how you were making fun of Mundine saying he wanted the winner of Hopkins vs Pavlik at the De La Hoya luncheon.

Is this not the same thing?

I just see double standards mate.

Its not ducking when a guy doesn't deserve a shot. Or is not well known enough to generate interest. I do think this current, past it Jeff Lacy would do enough to beat Froch.

Well from a close source i have been speaking to about the weights from Mundine's last fight against Crazy Kim were not accurate.
As the guy was in the camp of 2 of the Filo's on the undercard & clearly stated to me how they were 3 to 4 pounds heavier than what the scales showed.:yep

    I completely disagree.

I've always felt that Choc would beat Pavlik if they got together and what we saw v Hopkins just strengthens that belief.

Mundine has the tools to beat most fighters and the formlines suggest that he wouldn't be out of his class against Pavlik, who like Kessler uses his long jab and straight right to great effect. The other similarity between Kessler and Pavlik is that they roll forward and attempt to out-muscle their opponent instead of staying on the outside and using their reach.

This is where Choc used to have problems as he would sometimes get caught going backwards. He also made the mistake of sliding along the ropes and trying to slip and counter which aint smart against bigger, power punching boxers (think Margarito v Cotto)

The difference between the Mundine who lost to Kessler and Choc today is he worked hard on staying away from the ropes and moving laterally when under presure instead of backwards. Watch the Kessler v Mundine fight and you'll see that this was where he found most trouble.

Now that Pavlik has been defeated in such a dominant way he can't expect to avoid the contenders at middleweight. This is great news for Choc and we may find out if he has what it takes sooner than some think.

Incredible , Pavlik loses to a crafty old dog like hopkins probably one of the best middles ever and all of a sudden Mandy can beat him , Huge mistake writing off Pavlik just yet , @ Middle he is a beast . At middle IF Mandy ever attempts the weight LEGIT he will get dropped quicker than Kim dropped him but the differnce being Mandy stays Dropped :deal
