For some reason, I always remember the thought of them being interviewed on "Up Close" and Rahman accusing Lewis of being gay then the brawl ensuing. It was stupid but hilarious, too. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99z45lXAo2o[/ame]
Yep... Rahman owned Lewis all the way to the fight from the brawl to the hilarious **** talking. It must've felt like sweet revenge when Lewis finally blasted Rahman out with that spectacular right hand.
At the end of the day, Rahman's whole career is defined by Lennox Lewis. Rahman was just an embarrassing footnote in Lewis' career
At the time, I was a bag of nerves. Now in retrospect, it's all cool. Rahman's head 'wearing' the Don King crown is one of the best photos in heavyweight history IMO, and a great little bit of symbolism for a guy in Lewis that refused to play King's game and fought so many of his fighters.
This is a hhuge win in lennox career. its not that rahman was a great fighter even though he was a good one. its coming back from that defeat and all the dogging in the build up. he had HUGE Mental strengh. he help it together in the ring and blasted rahmans rass out
