Do you guys still think AJ vs Wilder isn’t a close fight?

I actually think this is one of them fights which goes longer than we expect even though both men are big punchers. I could see both getting dropped and getting back up.

You’re severely underestimating Wilder, luckily Hearn and AJ know the threat that Wilder poses.

If you do the 'who beat who' logic (which I wouldn't bet my house on) Molina who rocked Wilder and had a good close fight with Wilder got beaten absolutely convincingly by Joshua. Now Takam, although he lost, he went 10 rounds. Takam would go to a decision with Wilder and it'll be pretty close based on that logic.

That could certainly happen, on paper it should probably be fairly quick but it's far from unusual for a supposedly "first-big-shot-wins" fight to end up going deep.

I dont need under estimating,bc im not on their team.

i use common sense and realistic views.

at the end of the day you guys dissapear and im the one explaining how i knew what happened before it happened.....this is in part bc a superior fight brain which i was genetically born into always shpws up...

we'l see whats what soon........of course you can come back to this thread right?

I never used the who beat who logic. I think people saw that AJ has some clear flaws yesterday, a lot of them saw him as this unbeatable guy who would go on to rule the division for years. I don’t think anyone will rule for years, I think they may all beat each other.

Lool yeah I hate when that happens like that Lemieux vs GGG, people think they will go in the middle and sling it out but I can see Wilder boxing on the back foot tryna take AJ deep.

If Joshua keeps up with his weight gains then Wilder will have more of a chance.

Joshua needs to drop some weight. 243lbs is his best imo, and if he drops back down I’d predict a comfortable victory for Joshua. Obviously Wilder can always land his bailout card, with that big right though. But Joshua, at the heavier weight does look slower.

Yeah at 240 his stamina will probably hold abit more, he throws more punches and looks less stiff.

Nope. I'd happily see Joshua sparked out for both the hilarity of the inevitable emotional breakdowns some of his fanboys would have over it and to test his resolve. How would he come back from a shock defeat? Has he really grown as a person since wanting to 'dominate his area' as a young drug dealing street bully? We'd find out.

However, he waxes Wilder quickly and brutally. People with far less skill - and fortunately for Deontay, power - have landed shot after shot on Deontay in the early running and with that suspect chin of his you know he's going down when Joshua does the same. I'd be amazed if Wilder landed that hail mary punch so many give him a chance of landing. Sure, this is heavyweight boxing and anything can happen but it would be in my mind a major upset.

I have no problem with being wrong, I wouldn’t block you for that but I know Wilder has a chance and I wouldn’t be shocked if he won. I have a feeling AJ and his team will wait till Wilders age starts to catch up with him. If this fight happens next year I think Wilder has a good chance.

He was 243lbs against Breazeale, and while Breazeale was an easy target, Joshua had both speed and power, and in truth he looked just as fresh in the 7th as he did the 1st.

One of his biggest assets is the speed and power, but the more muscle mass he puts on, the slower he’ll get.
