Do you guys still think AJ vs Wilder isn’t a close fight?

No one in the know expected Takam to be a knock over job. He'd already given tough fights to Parker, Povetkin and Perez so the only reason I can assume anyone thought he'd be easy pickings was overconfidence in Joshua's ability or plain ignorance.

Duhaupas lasted eleven rounds with Wilder using limited head movement and a degree of grit and guts. Takam's tougher than Duhaupas and better at surviving, not to mention overall more skilled at nullifying an opponent's offence and causing them problems of his own.

I simply don't see how the wild flailing Wilder catches Takam enough to force a stoppage. He'd be punching over Takam's chrome dome all night.

Lol it’s cool, I think Takam was very awkward and did things Wilder couldn’t but AJ looked really stiff, he wasn’t throwing a lot because I think he was scared he might gas.

Joshua will destroy Wilder and I can't wait to see it, I think it will be a demolition job within six rounds.

The bookies had this under at this fight set at 4.5 rounds. Most people did not expect Takam to go more than 5 rounds, especially with two weeks notice.

Takam usually is a plodder, against Parker and Povetkin he didn’t show the headmovement and defensive capability he showed yesterday. AJ should have stayed behind the jab but his jab was as snappy or powerful as usual. Wilder has a pump action jab that he throws with venom.

I favor Joshua because I think he has been more focused (some of that is out of Wilder's hands with the peds stuff tho), but it's certainly a dangerous fight for him. Wilder, in Stiverne I, actually boxed a good bit and generally remained disciplined. I think Joshua would be the aggressor, Wilder hoping to catch him with a right hand.

Maybe 65/35 in Joshua's favor, but it would be competitive. But I also won't be surprised if Wilder gets knocked out first in a different fight. He's an accident waiting to happen.

AJ was scared to get hit by Takam for the first 2 or 3 rounds, I doubt it'll be early.:nonono Its a battle of glass jawed behemoths, it'll end up looking like large scale Williams Jr-Savigne.

Wilder and Joshua both have the power to knock the other out and for that reason there is more than one possible outcome to this one. Anyone who thinks it is a forgone conclusion I suggest you put your money where your mouth is and load up at the betting shop.

After Saturday I think it's life and death like Joshua vs old shot to bits Wlad. I may revise this again next weekend of course.

I really like Wilder in this fight.

For as unconventional and uncoordinated that Wilder is I think it's going to make for a very hard fight for Joshua.

There's a reason why Hearn is all talk no action about this fight.

Wilder is still unproven against the top guys.

I will still take AJ over Wilder at this time.

As far as jaws go, i think AJ has the edge as he got up from Vlad.

Wilder with that speed/power makes it interesting but i will take AJ's success against greater fighters and guess AJ by knock out. Possibly early.

Joshua will knock Wilder out, which is the reason Wilder will not fight him.....................

Not sure about that but we will see, AJ looks open to the right hand if anyone can throw a mean right hand it's Wilder.

It wouldn't last long. Wilder will crumble as soon as AJ nails him
