lol if life were that simple every actor, singer, athlete, whatever, would retire after making the first few mil and than work as a producer, manager, promoter, commentator, coach, whatever or not work at all

 

Having close to (or probably over) $500M in the bank, probably 20x more than either of the two, having fought the best (win or lose) in his prime, I think he's not.

 

the funny thing is hopkins is an employe of dlh and oscar is taking over bob arum and don king pretty soon as a promoter so i dont think he has anything to be jealous about..

he's just mad oscar is young and rich and gets more ***** than he can, he hates that oscar is good lookin'.

 

No fighter wants to leave the way Oscar left, a smaller guy beating you up in a very devastating way. No fighter. He might come back and embarass himself again more.

 

oscar is not garbage but his career is sometime made to be better than it was because he was the golden boy.. before he fought in the profesional he was already being given too much credit.. he couldnt do no wrong and every win was magnified ten thousand times more than it was.. but he did had a good career i wish he wouldve given tito a rematch when both were at their prime at 147 but he didnt.. and that in itself took away from both figthers legacies .. imagine if duran never fought leonard again
