Do you guys think that Guzman scared off Bob Arum in putting him in there with Manny? I think Guzman scared off Arum in putting Manny with him. I think Arum saw Guzman speed and skill and just said I don't need this guy. I think most fighter is going to avoid Guzman at 130.

    In all honesty YES!

Pacquaio is not well loved for his technical skills. He is well loved because of the excitement and actions he brings into the ring . . . if this guy will lose . . . he'll lose in a K.O. or a T.K.O. against the likes of Juan Diaz or Katsidis . . . not in a boring U.D. fashion Guzman's way. :rofl

You can give Guzman all the credit for his technical skills . . . bottom line is he still boring and not a crowd drawer . . . and doesn't have a good reputation plus he has no money :yep

This fight won't ever happen. :hey

I don't think that Arum ever planned on making this fight to begin with so I don't think that he was exactly scared off. If Manny moves up to 135 to take on Diaz you can't really hold that against him. Diaz is a bigger name, would generate more money, and would be a title in another weight class.

If Guzman wants the fight he needs to keep doing what he is doing and maybe move up to get at manny if he moves up.

And Manny Hype is not in crazy proportions. Guzman has all the skills to beat Manny. That's why Bob is avoiding him.

Which Diaz? I understand Juan but I think Guzman is a bigger name and better fighter than David Diaz.

Nah nah nah don't insist on that . . . having the styles to beat the man doesn't always result on the other guy getting the fight . . . that's for real :yep

Arum is simply avoiding a boring fight. Don't you think Juan Diaz and Marquez has the better chance of beating Pacquaio than Guzman?

    :hey :D

The bike crap....its ridiculous and the board is catching on when people use it. Guzman was right in front of Soto most of the night. Defense is a skill you know.

Well Soto was a Arum fighter for one. Arum doesnt take that well. And Guman is very hard to hit, not really impressive in fact I was kinda bored but hey its effective. Look at the styles originator. In the words of Mayorga " Little Miss Mayrunner". Guzman bores his way to a decision. But it will be exciting because Pac will chase but wont catch.

for a couple of rounds but not the last 3 rounds. running away is different from defense.
To tell you frankly I though soto will kick pacs ass due to his technical skill and power but if you will put guzman with pac, pac will **** him at the latter rounds when guzman will gas out. Honestly kg, I like this fight to happen :good

guzman is not a bigger draw than diaz, who can draw mexican boxing fans in a potential pacman fight.

He was showboating and tired. Certainly. And Pacquiao can capitalize on that. But he may also get outboxed badly.

That's not the point though. The point is FIGHTING him, not who I think will win. Fight the best.
