Do you guys think that Guzman scared off Bob Arum in putting him in there with Manny?

Buit the point is that Pacquiau should be fighting top fighters. Diaz is not that, and Guzman is better than him. Even if Guzman is not elite (and he may be) we KNOW Diaz is not, so it doesn't make sense to fight him over Guzman.

real boxing fans appreciate the artistry of the sport. It's boxing, not rockem sockem robots. I might go on my bicycle, but at the end of the day your face is all lumped up and mines still lookin pretty you'll have a new respect for it. god forbid an elite fighter uses what newbie fans call "running", it's sticking and moving chump, learn the game and the way it's played.

I think you have proved to every reasonable person's satisfaction that they just don't want Pac to get into the ring with Guzman...

Hey bruh lighten up . . . Diaz is not the top guy at 135 but he is a bigger fight for Pac than Guzman since he is a title holder at the next higher weight. You're being biased when you say Guzman is the bigger fight. :-( Anytime a smaller fighter goes up in weight to challenge a title holder . . . it's got to be bigger . . . don't you think so? Considering that Pac doesn't even have a belt . . . he is merely the darling of the crowd if we may call it.

Style wise . . . there will be more chances of Pac getting KOed by Diaz than Guzman . . . what are you thinking?

Guzman is desperate to get a big fight with Pac I can understand that . . . but you people are making the wrong justifications. :D

Style wise there more of a chance that Guzman beat Manny than David beat Manny.

YES! as expected who ever pacman or his camp does not choose they would immeidately PROCLAIM pacman is avoiding or ducking him

for GOODNESS sake there are over five boxers who wants to FIGHT pacman! They all HAVE THEIR OWN JUSTIFICATION that they are the right opponent and not the other one. So whoever pacman chooses that boxers (who missed the opportunity to get thier biggest PAY CHECK :rofl ) ...Starts proclaiming PACMAN IS DUCKING ME!!! :patsch

Come to think of it. If pacman chooses a low "pay" fight with Guzman the rest of the CAMP would say!!! See I told you PACMAN is ducking me. He was willing to get a lower pay check just to avoid me...

All the WANT TO BE OPPONENTS CLAIMS they are THE BEST of the best so they DESERVE to be the next WORTHY opponent!!! All these guys are saying this coz who ever gets to fight PACMAN will probably get their biggest PAYCHECK of their lives!!!!

DAMN if you DO! DAMN if you DON'T SITUATION!!!!

No, I don't think moving up to fight a weak title holder who barely beat a man you just KO'd and was shot a bigger fight. I think the justification that he is a bigger fighter and therefore a bigger fight is ludicrous.

You think if PBF goes up to fight Spinks it's bigger than if he fight Cotto, Cintron, or Williams?

Beat? Maybe? :yep But JMM has the better chance of among them.

But who would pay to watch Pac/Guzman on PPV when people have already reservations on how dull the fight would be? :think

A Pac/Valero fight would definitely sell more that a Pac/Guzman fight.

On my first post on this thread . . . I already said that Team Pac and Arum is avoiding a boring fight . . . that's very clear. :yep

I don't think it will be a boring fight though. If Manny wins the fight he will win by KO. If Guzman wins the fights it will still be a good fight because he is hitting Manny without getting hit. I want to see the best fight not just a brawl.

David Diaz is far from the best fighter available. period. It's not even a very exciting fight, but Pac would be the favorite.

Guzman, Marquez, Juan Diaz...those are challenges. They're avoiding competitive matches not boring fights.

They should fight Soto, he's coming off a loss. If the formula ain't broke, why fix it?

Well what you think is what you think and nobody can take that away from you :D

. . . but team Pac and Arum is looking for the best "action money fight" out there and it's definitely not against Guzman. :yep

Now the question is Arum scared?

Yes . . . Arum is scared that Pac loses his reputation as an action guy and therefore might damage his selling point for somebody who is not worth.

Loses his reputation off of one fight? Not buying it. PBF has been called boring over and over and he sells as much as Pacquiao.
