Notice how his head shakes. And imagine his bigger punches.

Sometimes I punch really hard and it shakes my head, and I wonder if I'm damaging myself lol

Does anyone get very minor headaches from just wailing on the bag?

I think it mostly just makes his face shake more than actually batters his brain.

Yes I used to get headaches on the bag occasionally if I hit it for too long. Newton's 3rd law: For every action force there is an equal but opposite reaction force.

That means every punch we land the force goes back on our fist and some of that goes throughout our entire body.

I honestly think if I threw my hardest punch I would kill my self.
Sometimes I throw one too hard in shadow boxing and I need to stop for a good moment

Yep, I threw my hardest punch few years ago in shadow boxing.. The result were multiple concussions and broken hip from generating too much power. I never again threw shot with more than 34%, Jesus man I could kill somebody just with wind generated from missing a target.

Just keep on with weak punches! Cheers

LMAO are you serious? You don't get brain damaged if your head shakes on its own a bit LOL. Did you ever study for example what formula one drivers go through dealing with G-Force? They need to train their neck muscles even more than boxers for that reason. By your logic they should all be completely brain dead by the time they finish with their sport yet they don't suffer from anything.

The only thing that can cause you brain damage in boxing is being hit in your head with hard punches repeatedly.

Here you go, shaking your head in shadowboxing while throwing a punch is nothing compared to this, yet these guys are completely fine:

I once said "no" really aggressively.
    I couldn't walk for a whole year.

Yes, it does shake your head.

You have made me wonder now...

Ordinarily, I am a big fan of shadow boxing!

    That's a relief.
But I definitely feel a whiplash effect if I punch too hard.
But I think I have it under control. Let's go champ.
