Tim Lane, Chris Algieri's trainer says that Manny Pacquiao "Pacquiao is a 126 lb dude. Pacquiao should never be at this weight. The guy probably walks around at 142 lbs and probably ate a hamburger right before this weigh in just to get the weight up."

If you're a 126 pound man and weighed 146 during a weigh in with little to no fat at all, guess what, you're now a146 pound man...

^^ being a 146lb man and a 146lb fighter are two VERY different things. The very fact he could easily cut down to 135lbs means he is not at all a WW fighter - he does it on pure skill, will, and unreal ability.

There's a reason floyd didn't do a fight night weight last time against Maidana - he's probably blowing up to well over 160lbs and is embarrassed about it. That face was sunken in during the weigh in.

Can you explain me what is different with 146pound man compared to 146pound fighter?the numbers seems same to me :think

And if you are 146pounds,then you are simply WW fighter.no need to twist and turn it.

Respect for Pacquaio, that he is not draining himself like many other fighters.but Pac is right now WW fighter/end thread

As the old saying goes, "if making weight is easy, then you're not making weight." That is to say he doesn't even belong at 140lb because that weight is too easy to make.

Pac literally BULKS to make the WW limit - this is a natural 126lber who matured in a lightweight during his late 20's and now is dominating at WW because he is a phenom.

This aint 1976, it's 2014. Walk around weights aren't fighting weights son. You only make weight for the second you step on the scale - and then balloon to your peak performance weight.

No way to twist and turn the story that pacquiao is a real Welterweight.

So let me get this straight. You think Floyd weighs over 160 in the ring, despite weighing 150 at the official 30 day weigh in?
