True, and as P4pbest says they're actually interesting, as Hoya/Mayweather, if your looking at it from a tactical level. Hoya/Mayweather is probably one of the best displays of defence from two boxers I've seen in a long time. I just think someone like Mayorga is gonna keep me watching because he's entertaining both outside and inside the ring. He might loose the fight but he's in there to take the other guys head off.
i thoroughly enjoyed floyd vs oscar.. from a tactical level... but people hated on it because floyd talked so much **** on the 24/7's and didnt fill his end of the trash talking ...
Depends on the quality and content of their trash-talk and if they back it up or not. Therefore, my like or dislike for a big-mouthed fighter is determined on a case by case basis.
Mayweather's dull fights were Vargas, Castillo 2, Baldomir, 2nd half of C. Hernandez fight, and Rios. The DLH fight was OK when watching it live, but has little replay value. His other fights aren't boring, all okay to good.
I like a big mouth boxer if they back up in the ring what their mouth says like James Toney. If they just say how tough they are and then get knocked out like Zab Judah, than I do not care much to see them talk. Results matter.
U can be a big mouth and with with whoever they put in front of you, but there is guys like mayweather who are really big mouths and ducks all the boxers that represent some danger.
lol what group was that...casual fans didn't follow the pressers...and I am pretty sure noone really believed he was gonna KO oscar...just whoop his ass:bbb
i love em', no matter what the results are. Its great when the back it up and its hilarious when they get KTFO. Who dosen't love watching Mayorga's press confrences and weigh-ins. He talks some of the crazyiest ****
