As long as they can back it up I got no problem with fighters talking ****. Antonio Tarver is the GOAT!:good But don't talk **** and duck everybody you talk **** about like Calzaghe and Roy Jones did.
**** talking is coo.. It's when they start putting themself in, or talking about being as great as SRR that ruins them. [It's called the Kanye/Delusional syndrome, when mediocre performer's imagine they are better than they truly are or will ever be.]
It's not really that simple for me. Usually I don't like big mouth fighters with less exciting performances in the ring (Malignaggi, Mayweather), but I don't have problems with guys like Darchinyan or Arce. I pretty much like all honest and humble boxers like Abraham, Pavlik or Johnson. Being loudmouth or a gentleman is not really a deciding factor for me I suppose.
Hamed was more of an entertainer than a **** talker, he always talked trash with a smile on his face and in a tounge-in-cheek kind of way. Not sure you could say the same about all the other trash talking boxers. Calzaghe talks **** all the time, and you can tell he genuinely believes what he is saying.
It depends. Some guys you know they're purposefully doing something. Other guys are just loud morning noon and night.
Depemds on the fighter. If it's inteliggent trash talk yes.....Mayorga's always been funny and inteligent except the Spinks cursing.
As long as they aren't making noise and hurting rather than helping the sport. Calzaghe's words about boxing being dead is bad for boxing. Not backing up you're trash talk in the ring isn't.
Depends on how good they are it. To me, Haye, Naz, Mayorga were all proper funny guys. Whereas Mayweather and Toney talk trash, but they just aren't funny.
A big mouth flashy boxer is probably better for the sport publicity etc but personally i dont really like them.Surely everyone loves to see the big loud mouth guy getting KTFO though.
