I actually want to start watching female boxing and UFC more. I feel like the reason they don't have the same skill sets is because they don't have popularity. Without popularity you don't get a lot of competition. You get all these "Tough-Woman Competition" ladies who look like they just came from an arm wrestling/beer chugging competition when they get in the ring. When you finally get a talented fighter (ex. Lucia Rijker) she is head and shoulders above everyone. This sucks for her cause then she's forced to go into kickboxing and stupid "man-vs-woman" or "wrestler vs boxer" match ups. I guess I equate it to the super low weight classes in boxing. I feel like I should pay more attention to it. I feel if I pay more attention to it, then hopefully the level of competition will rise one day. Also, have you guys googled the current Woman Champions lately? Some of them are super attractive!
i enjoy female mma more then female boxing. female boxing is kinda boring to me but female mma is fun to watch. those girls get it in lol
As long as they have tea on't table its fine by me. Bring serious I'd prefer to watch Katie the Yodeller before many male boxers because she's a bundle of energy and fun to watch.
If they're skilled, then yes. Many women only had a few years training and since the talent pool is very shallow even those with mediocre skills can quickly get title shots. There are some very very good female boxers, but many many crappy ones who manage to get into high spots in the rankings.
