Do you like FMJ's resume?

a 2 second glimpse over your post and i can see so many things that have been debunked for years...

such as the apparent ducking of kostya and prime floyd + oscar

if you followed his career at all you would know that floyd has been riddled with hand injuries since early on (it being the cause of the only official ruled knockdown against him)

fake retirement? remember the video of floyd showing that thing poking out his chest?..

just a few things you should take note and research before you go creating threads on someone

the only legit duck he ever performed was the sergio v pwill 2 winner (sergio)

 

Floyd has an excellent resume. The list has top name after top name on it

 

Apart from the PAC fight hes taken on most of the top guys over the last 12-15yrs

 

yeah was going to say the same thing, he fights cotto/mosely he's ducking someone else, he doesn't fight cotto/mosley he's ducking them. He can't really win eitherway with some people.

 

Large portions of this post are absolutely true.
Even still Mayweather has a HOF resume. It's not nearly as good as say De La Hoya.

 

you are right it does not but it shows may fought the best options available to him. sure you can argue 1 or 2 names on the list but you can do that with anyone... like i said sergio martinez is the only proven duck

 

Excellent resume, one of the best in boxing, anyone arguing otherwise is pure nonsense.

He's had a very good career, could've been great. It's a shame he ducked the best fighters of his era.

 

He has a Rocky Marciano type record , looks great on paper but there are a lot of names either missing or fighters beaten past their primes.

A shame because Floyd does have almost everything you would want from a fighter.

For me if he had a say 50 - 3 record but really fought everybody i would respect him more.

 

Had he fought all the fighters you've listed he ducked instead of the fighters he actually did fight, guys like the OP would then just list the fighters the opposite way round.

 

What's there not to like??? :think I like it! One of the best out there,,... Still, someone on his generation beats this resume by a fairly good margin,,...

It could have been very much better if he didn't pick his opponents. Imagine the name of winky there, margarito instead of baldomir. kostya tzu and casamayor. Imagine having a prime cotto at ww there. Imagine him fighting the winner of martinez-williams when he mentioned he wants it. Imagine him fighting the best pacquiao version in 2009/2010 instead of making ped accusations. .
