He is the most dominant around today...his brother just came back and if he can hold up is the overall most durable and awkward...Vlad is jab, right hand and hook for the most part but it works for him, like Lennox Lewis said he should change up a bit, even if its a jab to the middle or a few pitty patta shots..confuse the opponent...still he is a force to reckon with and I have never seen two big men so talented, ever...Vlad and Vitali would have beaten most fighters of the 60's and 70's, only Ali perhaps and Foreman and Frazier posibly giving them trouble but none of those men ever fought Big complete fighters like the Klitchko's
Why mention Jerry Cooney? You have just exposed yourself as a ***** who does'nt know **** about boxing. I guess you have to know the game on a certain level to realize that Cooney could actually fight. I see Cooney smashing Vlad in a heads up fight.
Keep dreaming hater, Wladimir didn't clinch excessively vs. Byrd, Austin, Brock, Ibragimov, Thompson, or Rahman. You are full of ****. If you can't appreciate true boxing skill & finesse maybe you should watch Toughman competitions or WWE wrestling. Maybe celebrity boxing is more your style?
Wlad's best win was over Peter, but Wlad looked terrible in this match, floored 3 times, clinched 97 times, and had a few too many panic attacks on his way to a close 3 point victory, this against a 25 yearold, who was as green as what was in Don King's wallet that night. I think when we look back in history, Vitali will be the brother we most remember, not because he had more accomplishments in the ring, but because he was a fighter, not a timid boxer like Wlad is. I dont know about anywhere else, but in America we like our fighters to be tough and excting, Wlad is neither IMO, at least for a seemingly dominate champ.
True boxing is how guys like Ivan Calderon or Daniel Santos fight. Wladimir's "true boxing skill & finesse", if you could even call it that, is a combination of John Ruiz's excessive clinching, Nikolay Valuev's awkward giant height, and the glass jaw of Jaidon Codrington.
Don't discount Brewster's intentions in the second fight. He tried, he failed. Much the same beating he was getting in the first fight when Wlad inexplicably lost all energy. The difference in that fight was Wladimir, not Lamon. Thompson was a good shape & good spirits leading up to the fight too. He was game & took a lot of punishment before falling in a heap on the canvas. Let's not change history here.
Again, that's enough stupidity to ignore your ignorant ass. Shall I post a poll? Let's see how many here agree with your bull****.
I also remember paying money to go see Klitschko fight live against Ibragimov at the Garden, and Klitschko's lackluster performance got him booed from Rounds 1 through 12. I also remember watching him fight Tony Thompson, Hasim Rahman, and Samuel Peter. I was expecting an exciting fight, but little did I know Wladimir's style of fighting consists of the "jab and grab" much like fellow heavyweight reject John Ruiz. The only Klitschko fights that I can watch over and over again are his fight with Corrie Sanders and his first fight with Brewster. Now those were some interesting scraps if I do say so myself! :yep
You're calling me ***** Longfaggot? Again, Wlad is miles above the level of Cooney, you are an exposed tool.
:rofl:rofl Golota get koed very quickly. i like his style but his very overrated fighter. He beat past his prime Bowe
Again, comments from a guy that has never been in the ring. Look at Thompson's weight. He weighed more than Vlad although he's shorter, has a slimmer frame and more body fat. Did you read his blog? He was eating chicken wings every other meal. Vlad put the pressure on him and he started folding up half way through the fight because he was gassed. When the right hand landed he found a soft spot on the canvas because he was exhausted. Also, Brewster did not even try. He did not take 1/20 the beating that he did in the first 4.5 rounds of the first fight. Vlad was unloading an endless barrage of power shots on him. Vlad also dropped him for the first time in his career in the 4th. Brewster took some jabs, a few right hands and quit on his stool. You are the one revising history here. Anyone not biased sees it. Your nutthuggery is ridiculous .
