Do you penalize fighters on your scorecard for holding?

Not if you're scoring a fight the correct way. The ref does it, not the judges.

Living in the USA do you really need to learn how capitalism works???

The only reason Wlad/Chambers is not going to be shown on TV is because not enough money would be made....

The only color us market cares about is green.... Which is why i love this country :smoke

    This.

If you were allowed to penalize a fighter for holding when scoring the fight then Hopkins and Ruiz would never win a fight on my scorecard, Mosley would've been way down on the scorecards against Margarito, and Wlad would've lost the Peter fight. You get what I'm getting at?

True but what if the ref is not doing his job aka obviously paid off?

Like the hatton-tszyu fight, were tszyu hit hatton with a unintentional low blow going to the body... The hatton hits tszyu with the MOST BLATANT LOW BLOW i have ever seen in my life.... And the ref dosent do anything :patsch

Or like in the hatton mayweather fight, were the ref deducted a point from ricky for hitting behind the head when he actually didnt hit him :huh

Honestly if a referee is incompetent, i dont follow what he says :good

Us scoring at home and the judges can't really do anything about that. The ref's word is final and he's all powerful in the ring. Just like if a fighter is down for 15 seconds and the ref only manages to count to 9 and the downed fighter happens to get up then the ruling stands that he got up before the count therefore the fight continues.

All that kind of crap is grounds for an appeal after the fight, but we as score-ers can't do a ****ing thing about it. We can't take it into consideration as apart of our scoring process unless the ref indicates a point deduction is warranted. Well, we can I guess, but not the actual judges who have the final, official word. They can only go by what the ref says.
