    yes and no!

have to admit i sometimes fast forward a match if its boring ground work.
however there is a lot of interesting stuff on the ground as well.
sometimes you just know that once 'so and so' gets the other guy on the ground he'll win the fight. you know that he'll be far too dominant.
    makes it very boring actually.

when its going back and forth on the ground its really good to watch.
however when they get into the north/south position i can't help but chuckle, and you often hear the crowd laughing too!

the ground game is the best part of mma for me, the striking in mma generally is poor so i dont like it most of the time

Love the ground game it's the most important part in mma IMO! If you don't like it then your just a fan of mostly technically **** striking!

its the reason i watch mma. even when it gets "boring" im enthralled because so much of grappling is a game of patience and i love seeing which guy is going to balk first or have the courage to risk giving up a position.
i dont really believe in standing fighters up unless its clear they are blatantly and deliberately stalling.

agreed, never see fighters putting into a wrestling lock if they are running away!

I do. As long as the ground game doesn't involve the Jon Fitches and the Jacob Volkmanns of MMA.

But it's a beauty to watch guys like Sotiropoulos, Maia, Sonnen, Lytle etc. work on the ground.

If I watch a fight on the computer, I usually fast forward through the ground game unless it's a beating

It depends on who is playing. If there are a lot of transitions and sub attempts, it is awesome. Otherwise, I'm just waiting on the round/bout to end.

I love the ground game. I don't know how anyone couldn't appreciate a crazy ground battle like this:

I dont mind ground fights but I preferred rings to cages, less of people just getting pushed against the cage wall, fighters are encouraged to fight in the centre of the ring and although disruptive, I found it made it more exciting.

Depends on who it is. If there's a high level of skill and activity in the grappling exchanges (i.e. Diaz vs Sanchez), I think it's beautiful to watch. Or if there is high level wrestling, ground n' pound (i.e. Bones Jones), etc. on display, that's great to watch, too.

Diaz/Sanchez + Diaz/Parisyan are excellent examples of how exciting grappling can be.

Depends on what they're doing. If they're trying to finished their opponent then yea.

sakuraba vs allan goes was probably one of the best ground game fight i've ever seen in mma. I actually enjoy that fight even though the fight was mostly on the ground.
