Do You Prefer Controversial Boxers or Uptight Fighters?

Sorry, weak minded is probably a bad choice of words on my part, I just personally like trashtalk and everything when its funny, Charisma really helps here, Ali was funny and smart, hamed was fun as well.
Guys like tyson and mayorga were crazy but badass, I dislike floyd so obviously im biased there but I get why some might find his trashtalk funny, but to floyds credit what chisora did is on another level, slapping vitali, spitting in wlads face, I feel that goes too far and is just very disrespectfull and bad taste, I prefer a gentleman boxer over that kind of behavior, but when trashtalk is doen right its obviously more fun to watch and gets you more excited than group 2.

 

Ultimately I only care what they do in the ring. Anything else is just secondary.

 

Group 2 - I've no time for buffoonery.

 

I prefer controversary but it's not required for me personally, I care more about the fighters and the fights themselves. So while it's nice to have, I don't really care if there isn't.

i think there is 1 thing we can all agree with and nothing is worse than a **** talker who doesnt back it up at all

just like no one likes a quiet fighter who doesnt get it done

personalty are amplified by what they do in the ring

classy fighters who can fight are respected

 

floyd has to act controversially or else nobody but hardcore fans would care to watch him fight

Manny acts with class but has had much more exciting fights in the ring so...

I dont like suck ups, but i like childlike, mentally unstable clowns that have no sense of sportmanship even less. I can understand why so many fans dig them, a lot of people never get over their teenage years after all.

I prefer boxers that focus on the fight, dont engage in petty bs and let their fists do the talking, boxers who act like, you know, professionals

 

Depends.

I love certain "nice guys" like Joe Louis, Glen Johnson, Marciano, Calderon, and the Klitschko's, but I also like some "bad guys" like Mayweather, Jack Johnson, Monzon, Paulie, and Koki Kameda.

Contrarily, I dislike some "nice guys" like Holyfield, Dempsey, Pacquiao, Khan but also dislike some "bad guys" in Ali, LaMotta, Mayorga, Haye, Chisora, and Luis Lazarte.
