He seem's like the guy to go to down London (I'd go with booth or Tibbs any day of the week instead), yet what's the deal with him? Fighters just don't look that good under him, IMO. Your thoughts on whether he is a good trainer or not? or is it a case of being pally pally with Fast Car and being in the right place at the right time?
Quite hard to judge. I look at Barker and think they've done well - there was a clear shift in style and training to accommodate his body and it got him to a title. Then you look at Mitchell who aside from being more active is the same fighter as with Tibbs, with Joshua it's too early to tell and Ryder hasn't impressed or let anyone down (doesn't have the same talent as BJS). Hard to judge. I personally think too much emphasis is placed on trainers when boxers win or lose. Game plans are what they are but one person executes them and if the other boxer is better then they are often irrelevant.
