    Louis was Actually on the Canvas nearly just as many times as Wlad has been(10 times vs 11 times i think)....Wlad hits Harder, all round stronger, Better foot work, and much Longer/Taller....does not look bright for Louis who's chin is no better than wlads....

    Ok, lets listen to official facts: Louis' reign was 11 years long. Longest ever. Wlad would destroy him face to face, though.

    Still, after beating Pianeta, Wlad's reign will be the 2nd longest at HW.

    By the way, I'm counting Larry Holmes' reign since 1978 (when Ali was "lineal" champ), Tyson's reign since 1986 (when Spinks was "lineal" champ), Lewis' reign since Briggs (when Holyfield was still around), and Wlad's reign since 2006.

    I wondered if maybe I hadn't miscounted yesterday when I saw this thread. By my count, just as far as how long you held a major regarded heavyweight title in the history books, you've got:

    11 years:
    Louis

    10:

    N/A

    9:

    N/A

    8:

    N/A

    7:

    Holmes (+-3 months)
    Dempsey (who held it for three years without defending it with a + 2months)
    Sullivan (extremely different world here and official defences during this time would reflect that, + 0 months)

    6:

    Volo, +10 or 11 months now

    Johnson, + 4 months

    So, Klitschko isn't there even if by some small chance he does get by the Punishing Paisano, right? :huh
