What is Haye gonna do to beat Vitali? Tell me something about that strategy, could you? I mean don't listen to his bull**** talks. We all know that Haye is a trash talker. BTW, he didn't make any impression when he fought Wladimir. Not even a close fight.:nono
Why did you show me the VDO? All Haye could do in that fight was throwing one punch at a time. He could not connect his punches and nothing was happening to Wladimir after the punch landed.
Its the only punch he landed. Watch it 50 times in a row and compubox stats change....Haye really won. As to the question at hand HELL NO. You will however have loads of Brittards claiming Haye by way of KO.
Too be honest, I don't think it was a bad fight at all it just couldn't live up to the hype surrounding it. Haye trash talking as always being 'Heavyweight Saviour', the fact that this fight was the biggest heavyweight bout since Lewis-Klitschko in 2003 which is a full 8 years is a big whole in the division. If you looked at each fighters styles objectively you would know it was not going to be the barn burner it was predicted to be. It doesn't make a bad highlight at all. :conf On the Vitali-Haye issue though, I think he has a good chance to beat Vitali. Vitali has not looked the same since Arreola but one could argue that his opposition has not been able to test him of late (bar Chisora). I agree with BE. :good
What's he going to do? Same thing he tried to do to Wlad but couldn't, stay on the outside, slip and move, and try to land big counter shots. While Vitali is a physically more resilient man, he's much slower and more hittable than Wlad, and fights at a more predictable rhythm. Chisora and Charr were both able to get to him, and whilst it's not much to go on Solis was able to land some sharp counter shots before he got stopped. Haye has the power IMO to stun Vitali with something big the way Sanders did, and if that happens who knows? Not a big Haye fan BTW. Just think he might have Vit's number at this stage.
With all of that said...Haye is not a pressure fighter and throws 5 punches per round. He wont be the guy to do it.
Vitali is too old,too slow. Haye will catch him with a counter at some stage, land some flurries and the fight will be stopped. But Haye's stamina is abysmal for a supposed great fighter. He says he "doesn't like running." Well too bad *****.
There were other shots mate but minus.com has a 30mb limit I couldn't fit it all in one GIF. Not a bad fight at all. I just don't understand why you get worked up over all these things that are considered hype. It's a good event and fight for the division. Haye-Klitschko was the last big Heavyweight event since Lewis-Klitschko we need these combination of fighters and characters to create interest. ****, I thought nobody caught that. :-( I think it's because I've been watching this video far too much for my liking: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsFCSvqsqFA
Not this fighter....he didnt have the balls to engage Valuev and Wlad what makes you think anything will change? Especially against a guy he has CLEARLY shown signs of being terrified of when face to face.
agreed. but they say that every great fighter has one last fight in them(i believe that this will be the case in jmm post-manny) and haye would definately be vk's best fight as he hates haye. and vitali is nowhere near as faded as an ali/holmes type scenario.
Wlad has a cut. Haye has a good chance of winning. The tactic against Wlad would be the perfect tactic against Vitali. Make Vitali“s punches miss and counter hard. Haye is very fast and Vitali has problems with skilled fighter. Chris Byrd countered Vitali and won the fight. Byrd was not a big puncher, Haye is. And Haye can do great damage with less punches. TKO win for David Haye.
