If he couldn't put a little tiny dent in Wlads glass chin i dont see him beating Vitali his only chance would really be on a ko so yeah would be another boring fight proobably
Simply put, Vitali doesnt move half as fast as Wlad, doesn't hit half as hard, and hangs around in the pocket twice as long. Haye is fast, can punch pretty damn hard, and likes having his opponent in the pocket (Chisora was, Wlad wasn't). You do the math. Honestly, I can't see Vitali getting much to Hayes chin to test it, and Haye could build up such an accumulation of contacts on Vitali's face, it could be a TKO ala Lewis. Lewis fight really put Vitali on the map, now another Brit could take him off it. The circle of life will be complete.
I can't believe this poll... haven't we already learned everything we needed to know about David Haye? He's not fit to carry Vitali's robe. Just a damn shame the HW division is so weak that this wank is still being discussed.
Says someone who's apparently been living in a cave so long that he's either forgotten or never knew that Vitali is far tougher than Wlad.
Yes. Vitali isn't wladamir, he has neither the speed of hand nor foot, or the one punch ko power. Wladamir was able to use his deceptive speed to box from the outside, Vitali won't have that ability and Haye will land punches on him. I don't know who wins the fight, but Wlad vs Haye has no bearing on it , they are different fighters with different styles
Haye has terrible lungs. He was wheezing from the mere pressure of Chisora walking him down and staring at him. He looks in decent shape but I don't think he keeps in good enough shape in his off times. I won't say Haye has zero chance, though, but a third option of not likely seems to fit. Vitali is past it and how much certainly factors in the equation. I'm very dubious of Haye's chances despite Vitali's fading considering Haye's exceedingly poor workrate.
I think Haye can take him. Vitali's defensive timing looks off, and Haye's explosive speed is the type that could really exploit that.
I disagree. Haye (and many of his fans) suffers from the delusion that he has 1-punch KO power. He does not. He did at CW, but not at HW. He can't beat a tough fighter like Vitali by throwing just one punch at a time. One could argue that that tactic MIGHT have had a chance against Wlad, but Vitali is much harder to hurt. Haye doesn't have the balls to engage a dangerous fighter with a flurry, and he won't take out Vitali by pot-shotting from the outside. ----------- That said, it would be a crime against humanity if Haye WERE to beat Vitali simply because Vitali has slowed too much, or gassed out, or whatever. Therefore, this fight should never take place.
This fight should take place. Why not? I didn't see any HW prospects who dare to fight the Klitschko brothers right now, and I really don't know WTF they are waiting for.
Wlad hardly landed anything clean on Haye. How should old stifflegged Vitali who is light years slower than Wlad be able to it then... And theres probably a reason Uber nazi Boente has tried anything possible to avoid this fight...:deal
