Do you really think Cotto has a chance against Pac?

of course Cotto has a chance, but IMO moving up to Welter could hurt Pac ... i hope they don't do a catchweight

**and I think Pac is too fast for him. He'll rip him with combos all night

yes. after all, cotto has a 11-12 lb size/strength advantage. if size wasn't in the equation, pac surely wins this.

People forget that Pac's chin has barely been tested above 130.

Not at 144 like pac wants, Cotto's punch resistance its **** at anything below 147, he will get TKO early, i give him abosolutley 0 chance at that weight.

He needs to fight at 147 where his puch resistance its way better, he has show he can actually take a punch at that weight(if the fists are legally wrapped :yep). Work the body early and often, KEEP HIS GUARD UP!!!! nothing of that cross defense that he uses, hes not quick enough and that will not work against pac

Of course he has a chance against PAC. But in my opinion his chance at beating PAC is as good as Ricky Hattons or Oscar's. I love this fight for PAC. Cotto is a legit threat and he can fight. But he is far slower with a style that doesn't give him a great chance at beating PAC unfortunately.

I think it would be a close fight, Cotto was able to overcome the speed of Judah and Mosley. If he gets a new trainer, he could give Pac a tough fight, but he looks off form too me judging by his last two fights.

If Cotto goes with the right plan and in good condition I think Pacquiao could be a lot easier than Clottey. Pacquiao has a fast attack. But he is not very hard to hit. That said, Pacquiao is a monster and nobody in 135 or 140 can beat him at this moment. This P4P bull**** and catch up weights are really ****ing up boxing.

Of course Cotto can beat Pac. If you made a post like this last year, then you'd be labeled insane like PacD and be promptly laughed at.

So Cotto did not look good against Clottey and Margarito... whoop freaking do. Those guys are tough opponents that can make anyone look bad even a fighter of Cotto's calibre. Pac also looked subpar against Solis and Barrera II and some people started saying he was already past his best. Look how that turned out.

Cotto is a damn good fighter who (SHOULD) not go down so easily if Pac beats him.
