Not a great fight by any means but I sat through it, I thought Dawson won clearly.

Hopkins is not the real executioner but he's the boring fighter who always uses dirty tactics. and yes, I think that Dawson won the fight. No doubt about it.

Most of the rounds were very close rounds you had to be looking to give them to someone. Fight was no more then a draw unless you go out of your way looking for what Dawson or Hopkins did to win a round.

 

Yes he did. Hopkins make all his fights ugly. All his did was sneaky right hand and grab all night.

 

Dawson took it 116-112 and that's being generous to Hopkins.

 

I think so but I have to admitt it was closer then most people think it was. Basically Nard fought to stay in the fight and looked pretty good when he wanted to but probably didin't want to take the risks required to keep the pressure on chad. One thing's for sure though. Chad ain't back man. All that **** talking and new attitude before the fight didn't change his in the fight. Same old boring technician.

I was there live and thats what I saw. He tried to steal the fight. It like to see the fight if Hopkins was in his prime. Dawson looked like a Cruiser weight that would have KO'd anyone else in the division Sat. night.

 

I thought it was a draw. Nobody won that fight. Ward fainted when Dawson called him out! LOL!
