Do you reckon UFC 159 will be the last time we see Chael compete in the cage?

Depends how he looses. If he cops a floggin I can see him retiring but we shouldnt be discussing his retirement just yet, he could always defeat jones.

If he does retire, after watching him on TUF he would be an excellent trainer/corner man

If he gets blown away by Jones in a Round or something I don't see where else he can go would he happy building his way back up again after a 3rd failed claim at UFC Gold .

I suppose the other scenario is If Weidman beats Silva (A big If ) maybe he might feel he has another run in him.

No, I think Stefan Struve is my favourite fighter. Or Joe Lauzon. :good

One of the great crime mysteries.

    http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/criminal_mind/scams/DB_Cooper/index.html

Sonnen claims that his family, who are from the area near when Cooper jumped, knows who he is. It's a fascinating story, and if I had a sit-down meal with Sonnen, that's what I'd ask him about. He talked about it on Joe Rogan's podcast, but didn't reveal the name. :good

Yep, I think so. I love his attitude when he fights. He really has fun and always wants the crowd to enjoy the fight. He fights with real joy, you can see it. He seems like a cool guy too and I like seeing a seven-footer in there. And I'm half Dutch. So there's the clincher. :good

Yeah, but I'm neutral on Overeem. :good

I like Struve for the same reasons I like Lauzon, but Struve gets the nod for the common heritage.

I really really hope Sonnen gets something going early in this fight, if he does, it could actually prove to be a very tough fight for Jones, he could well spend a lot of time on his back, where apparently he's pretty dog ****!

Reading into body language Sonnen is giving off the aura of a man who is already beaten, and thats a shame, because Sonnen does have the tools to make this an interesting fight, the more kicks Jones throws the more he will be taken down, Sonnen's boxing is better than Jones's and Sonnen is the better wrestler. That makes for an interesting combination of intangibles!

I think Jones with look to take Sonnen down and cause damage on the floor, he's the bigger man, he's had a long camp to get his cardio in for a tough style of fight, I believe Jones will go for a double before Sonnen does!

Looking at size, I seen an interesting interview with Sonnen claiming he's sick of making 185 it was killing him! :nono and yet Mike Dolce was walking around telling anybody who would listen that Sonnen was weighing 195 2 days before the weigh in (Silva Sonnen 2), and he would not be skipping any meals, simply walking for 35 minutes on a treadmill 1 hour before the weigh in, having eaten breakfast and being fully hydrated! So he's telling bare faced lies.

My head over my heart; Sonnen is getting demolished, and yes he will probably retire.

Its strange, echoing a few on here, I've always been undecided on Chael. As has been mentioned, when he is in a serious conversation he's genuinely good to listen to, and witty too. But there's always been the side to him that annoys the **** out of many MMA fans, the side that he uses to promote his fights! Personally i can take or leave that bit. Yet since watching him on TUF (which incidentally is the 1st season i have watched in its entirety for a long time) ive actually really started to like the guy. Ive always liked watching his fights, which is the important bit i suppose. But hearing his insight and superb motivational skills made me warm to him.
