2 catchweight middleweight title fights in a row? You wanna be mad at Cotto for the 1st one, go right ahead. But Cinnamon deserves the scorn.

was at Cotto's insistence. But some of you are just being prima donnas
about the whole thing. It's his first defense and he's just flexing some
muscle. Let's wait and see what happens within the 15 day period after this fight before getting all huffy about the red head.

I think Canelo will be disowned by the majority of Mexican boxing fans the longer he vacillates.

It would be kind of ironic to see Golovkin get cheered on by most Mexicans and Canelo booed in their potential fight all because Golden Boy made everybody wait for the "right" time--"right" as in "we're gonna milk our flagship fighter for every dollar first until Golovkin looks vulnerable enough with age".

I'm kind of indifferent to it, most of the weight stuff I feel is overblown and people need someone to hate on for there fighters lack of ambition or failures.

Who are these guys Alvarez has huge weight advantages over? In his last few fights we have Cotto who's been walking in at 165+ for years was a champ at JMW/MW
Kirkland & Angulo who both came in 170+ and are career JMWs.
Mayweather who is not a JMW but is a 3x champ in the division.
Lara and Trout both career JMWs who came in just under and over 170 respectively
Mosley who has been Lineal JMW Champ before and has fought there multiple times.

People come up with all kinds of excuses for GGG fighting certain fighters even though 154-68. But Alvarez gets bashed when he's said before and after the Cotto fight he's a JMW.

I don't like the catch weight title thing but that's really the only complaint.
Two 154 fighters fighting in a non title bout at 155 has never been a big deal, and has never heard someone consider that anything other than a non title JMW fight until Mr.Step Aside came along.

Pretty much goes into detail about how difficult it's been to get fighters to meet GGG.

atsch When Canelo began... I was impressed, but recently my opinion has changed, mostly due to O$CAR, but Canelo has bought into this scheme.

That was my intent. But he still deserves the scorn. PS I don't hate him. I used to like him as he didn't demonstrate this nonsense earlier in his career. He actually has a good resume.
