You stated some solid facts here but let not start getting it twisted. Floyd is not just a boxer he is a corporation and as such you never invest with the chance of a BIG loss. INVEST FOR TOTAL RETURN.....AND PPV BUYS:smoke

Canelo should pull a Floyd a-la Marquez and come in at 154 pounds anyways. Canelo can just say "**** it, charge me for the extra weight" and give that ***** Mayweather a taste of his own medicine.

I always respected Floyd for his crazy skills.
And I have a whole lot more respect for fighting Canelo and not draining him down to 147
but made it somewhat fair on both sides by having the catchweight.

I'm a pacquiao fan and a floyd fan.
    I'm a pacflotard :rofl

man I hope so, that would make this fight interesting as hell. Only problem with a high pressure/punch volume is that Canelo's so far shown nothing to suggest he can fight that way. He gasses pretty bad later in fights, which imo is down to cutting too much to make 154.

Always did respect him, I had faith he'd fight Canelo, though I do have a few gripes with him.

Yes. He was losing my respect with some recent opposition but it picked up when he fought Cotto and Guerrero. I think this is a huge fight and I can see this being close. It will be a fight where Floyd looks vulnerable and that is what people want, to see him in a tough, grind it out type match.

I never thought Canelo was really good a few years back, but his size and the fact he's gotten better makes him a very dangerous foe.
