Do you see AJ developing significantly while training with Usyk?

I’m not sure considering AJ is like 36 with his best days behind him. Thoughts?

Joshua is over muscled, slow of foot and mind, and clumsy compared to Usyk. I think Usyk is just relaxing, taking a 10% trainer fee to watch the losers bracket go at it.

 

Joshua needs someone to look up to I assume. He changed coaches a lot and to me it sounded like he didn't trust in their knowledge.
With usyk now he has the definitive heavyweight. THE definitive boxer right now with a vast understanding of the sport and who also dominated Joshua twice and also everyone else who mattered.

So there it is: someone joshua can look up to without ever doubting. No little doubting questions will rise in joshuas mind. He can now focus on what usyk says and not look back.
It seems he couldn't with anyone else.

So maybe that's good. Wonder if we'll see usyk in his corner as the main coach. That would look amazing

Being around Usyk should be a good thing, he has a space away from distractions. Only needs to focus on himself and the boxing craft. Big Bear on steroids

Team Usyk are simply milking him for money instead of helping their own people.
It shows how laughable their 'nationalism' is. I wonder how far they can push it before the people turn on them. Maybe next they can start a hiphop club up in London and do some promotion for the war effort there with Usyk DJ'ing in camo gear.

 

Joshua went there just to have some fun and take his mind off the tragedy he experienced, I doubt he made any progress...

Nah, AJ's way past his best now. All Usyk's team can do with it is bring him back to HW's Top 10. Which is not a given either.

 

I watched an interview with Usyk about him "training" Joshua.

He described him as a "nice guy...very well behaved". It almost seems like he's quietly bullying Joshua. It's actually humiliating.

People think Usyk is some super nice guy and they're mistaken. You don't become undisputed champ being super nice. Usyk is getting a slow, humiliating revenge on Joshua by teaching him how to jab in his late 30's and taking 10% as a "Trainer Fee".
