hes had a good run at the top level 2014-2018, it would be sad to break it. Looking at his record, the really close fights (SD/draw) only happened when he fought - 1 - number 1 contender 2 -an elite SO i think if he avoided the number 1 contender and any elites then he would be 100% safe, as indicated by his record against that next tier. If he fights the number one contender a few times, or elites a few times more, then at some point, the canelo draw suggests he just might lose narrowly.
Only if he moves up. I can't see anyone at 160 beating him unless the BJS 3.0 shows up and dances with the heart of Ireland all night long looking great in the process.
It would not shock me to see Canelo pull it out If he isnt sharp Saunder's movement, Jacobs abilities from the first fight could be a problem and if he moves up or hangs around long enough he could always lose to a bigger guy or just from getting old Before Jacobs I would have said yes, after Canelo 1 my opinion has moved further to the possibility of him losing. If he handles Canelo in a way that many expected him to ahead of the first fight then I would change my mind again to holding him in a higher place
