Do you see Joshua good enough to take out the contenders of the 70 s?

Bugner and young. Two guys that never quite got to the top but if you faced them on their best day u would either struggle to beat em or they could beat u. Two very talented guys but just didn't have that extra fire in there guts to get to the top , plus of course fighting in one of the strongest era s.

What Joshua showed was he had a great fighting heart and decent chin.
You've got to give him credit for coming through adversity and showing the guts and determination of a champion.
I think Joshua beats almost all of them, I don't think he's better than them skill wise or savvy wise he'd just be too big.
Bugner could frustrate him over the stretch before losing a UD but the only fighters who I think would or could beat him from that era are Ali and Foreman.

Theoretically it must be possible to match all the levels of taking supplements and vitamin drinks through eating the right quantities of actual wholesome food. The problem is imagine how much green vegetables it would require? it just isn't practical so there are drinks and vitamins to take instead. It's noT cheating and it's not PEDs though it is enhancing a diet in a much more practical and accurate way. And of course none of it makes a guy see or react to a knockout punch on it's own.

However there are medical and scientific ways to enhance the physical chemistry that can be passed off as being purely down to wholesome dietary nutrition. A whole science has been dedicated to this in sports for years.

let me bang my head against the wall a little.....

A unproven prospect went life and death, had to get off the deck, was out on his feet several times and gassed severely in a relative slow pace fight against a 41 year old (!!!!) washed up fighter who could not let his hands go against Fury and looked like absolute shid against part time club fighter Jennings......same guy who was waxed in his prime by a professional trail horse, a Golfer and a face first Brawler with little skill except chin.

70's means going 15 rounds.........todays AJ aint going 15, he will stay down from a glancing blow due to complete exhaustion.

Lets chin check..........WK is praised for his "unreal" power but who besides ham and eggers has he ever Ko'ed ? Answer, nobody, any perceived threat was jab and grabbed, as a matter of fact, wide swinging caveman Sam Peter took similar shots without blinking until wobbled by a hook off a jab in the last round. Conclusion: chin average at best. AJ is a KO waiting to happen, bank on it.

The problem is that the new generation of fight fans have been fed for a decade a steady diet of sub par WK fights were he literally stunk the joint for said decade and now they accepted he is the new norm of "Superheavyweights" in terms of performance /excitement, hell , even big time US networks (where the real money is) abandoned ship.

Coincidentally , the only memorable K bothers fights are Wk's three blow outs plus the recent KO loss and when Lemmie carved VK's face like a Thanks giving Turkey dinner.

Well none of these guys are 41 years old, so yeah he could lose to some of them. Young ,Lyle and Bugner would be my pick.I just haven't seen this guy in the ring with a semi good prime heavyweight so he can't be judged yet

Guess for now then we'll just have to match Josh with past champs and contenders with 19 fights or less then. U could have said same thing about cassius when he beat liston or holmes going toe to toe with a oldish Norton. Don't judge a book when you've only looked at one page is what I'm saying.
