I think he does. Whether Wilder or Joshua/Parker. He put on a great show and had Wilder one shot from a loss.
Can't see it happening unless he becomes a mandatory, Wilder already took care of him and there are bigger, better fights to be made.
He deserves another big fight. Put up a great effort but ultimately gassed in the end and got caught with some great shots.
Of course being stopped may have taken a fair bit out of him and put miles on the clock. Joshua will fight him in 2019 if he beats Parker and Wilder imo. Ortiz just needs a couple of stay busy fights.
as cutthroatfade said absolute no chance to much risk for no reward its why wilder should be commeded for taking the fight when he never had to
Parker's become really underrated, after only looking less than dominant against a couple tricky opponents. Parker has far better punching technique than Wilder, and he's faster and of course younger and fitter than Ortiz. Parker would beat Ortiz to the punch all fight before Ortiz could get set, and use good movement to cruise to a decision.
Ortiz has been rightly avoided. Even after his loss tonight I can't imagine any heavyweights that want to share a ring with him.
A skilled southpaw heavyweight with decent power, who brings limited $$$ to the table....... not a chance. At nearly 39yrs old, the ship has probably sailed for Ortiz. A little frustrated by his conditioning, as that was there to be won tonight.
Absolutely not, Luis Ortiz is a real threat to any heavyweight Luis Ortiz vs Deontay Wilder -------------- Unlikely Lusi Ortiz vs Anthony Joshua -------------- Impossible Luis Ortiz vs Parker ------------------------ Possible So if you want to see Luis Ortiz in a title fight again, you should be rooting for Parker
Wilder will give him another crack as long as Ortiz stays relevant after Deontay becomes undisputed. Best fighting the best brought to you by Bronze Bomber.
