Do you understand how old 50 is?

    fifty.

There is not a single 50 year old in professional sports -- other than B-Hop.

No one. Because 50 is incredibly old for a professional athlete.

Michael Jordan was 40 when he played on the Wizards for his second comeback -- A full decade younger than Hopkins.

The elder statesman of tennis, Roger Federer is 34! That's 16 years younger than B-Hop.

Do you understand how old 50 is?

Ward is 32, 18 years younger than Hopkins. Do you think that might make a difference?

b-hop has been too old for boxing since his professional debut.. age had nothing to do with kovalev making him his son.

In a strong field, this is the stupidest thing I've ever read on this forum.

Eastpaw can't quite get his his head around "50" and how old that is.

    :rofl

    Log the fu.ck off.

A younger Hopkins would have made Kovalev crawl across the ring like the mangy dog he is.:deal

Maybe he can, maybe he can't. I don't know. But if anyone can neutralize Kovalev's offense, I think Ward would be the guy who could.

    I'd like to find out.

sadly b-hop himself doesn't agree with you. KOvalev didn't make b-hop look old or shopworn. he made him look completely gunshy and devoid of a gameplan. was it because he was 50 or was it because he knew he couldn't swallow all of those KOva cakes being fed to him.

Perhaps you have 40/60 vision and cannot see as well as others.
Even laser correction surgery cannot repair blue defective eyes.
Kovalev is not and has never shown himself to be an intelligent person. If he wasn't a boxer he appears to be a skinhead candidate. Not too smart.
Have you heard how he speaks? It even comes out dumb in Russian so you can't blame it on his bad english.

Kovalev may not be too smart, but he is smart enough to show fear when he or others start talking about Ward.

    Two fights that are very similar for Ward and Kovalev are;

    Kovalev Vs Agnew

    Ward Vs Smith

Smith and Agnew are roughly the same caliber of fighter and both fought pretty similarly against Ward and Kovalev.
Both fought with hands up over face abd defensive the whole fight. As I recall, Agnew had a lot more offensive success against Kovalev than Smith had against Ward. Smith got in one shot the whole fight. Agnew had success with a few combinations against Kovalev.

IMO, Smith took much more of a beating at the hands of Ward than Agnew took from Kovalev. Post fight, Agnew picked up his check and drove home.
Smith? Smith went to the hospital for facial surgery.

    Kovalev knows what's up.

40 year old BHOP would have been much more competitive. So, age was the difference, plus as BHOP said, he was much bigger at LHW than BHOP believed. BHOP said he couldn't get past Kovalev's size difference, and that's understandable since BHOP is basically a MW/SMW.

BHOP exhibited the usual signs of age in the fight. He couldn't pull the trigger, and his power has diminished with age so he had to play defence.

I give credit to Kovalev for taking the fight and winning. It is much more than Golovkin would have done, and BHOP is still better than anyone on GiGi's resume.
Still, BHOP was 50 years old. That fact simply cannot be ignored.

What's that supposed to mean? You really are an ******* you know that. Roman Simakov was a very solid fighter with only one loss to another top at the time Russian prospect in Lepikhin. His chin was amazing and that's unfortunately why he died.
