Do you still consider Floyd Mayweather a "cherry picker"?

Ah you don't see the point of the exercise. The point is to mention a bunch of "what if" fights after all the facts surrounding them have been forgotten. Then you shove all of the blame for the fights on FMJ.

Same way Pac walks away from negotiations for something Mayweather asked for in the beginning and Pac agreed to then you go and blame FMJ for it.

Are u kidding me? Hatton was a bigger fight than Mosley?

Again with this nonsense! So after this fight breaks records you are going to stick with that.

Shane's victory over vargas though not as big as his victory over Margo still would have made that fight huge.

Shane vs. Floyd was always going to be huge!

I am not saying that PBF was scared but it was PBF that decided to blackball Shane after 2006. And Shane didn't say he didn't want to fight he said he would not be fighting in 2006.

He even said he would be willing to wait after the proposed DLH fight if that went thru.

You can continue to bull**** all you want! And Shane being more declined than Ricky Hatton.........tell me that **** May 2nd.

Win or lose you will not be able to say that or back it up May 2nd. You will look like a fool!

I think Williams will make the weight fine. He is not comparable to De La Hoya as he is in his prime so stamina will not be as much an issue. Also, De La hoya had already fought at Middleweight, Williams has only gone up to LMW. If Williams says he can make the weight comfortably let him fight. Stop using it as an excuse for Floyd not to fight him. He is the toughest fight out there for him. Everyone knows this.

You think? Like I said, I want the man to get a fight under his belt for his sake not FMJ's. If he doesn't? Fine by me too.

I am not using it as an excuse. If he is the toughest fight then why didn't Pac call him out to be next? Everyone knows Williams is the man to beat at WW right? Wrong. The dude doesn't have a following. Same reason Pac fought Cotto and not Mosley even after Mosley destroyed Margarito. Then I guess you are going to say belt and PPV right?

    Bullocks!

No they are not. Not sane fans or boxing scribes. All sane fans and boxing scribes are doing is NOT letting PBF pawn off his BS rhetoric on them.

He is fighting the top dog.......but like CHRIS ROCK SAID, "ONLY N#$$%@S want CREDIT FOR THINGS THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO DO!"

Yep. I always know coming into these threads that the last thing most people want to hear is the truth.

Wow. So can you tell me again why Manny didn't fight SSM?

Your BS standards don't hold up because you would never apply them to any other boxer.

It is like Bob Arum handed them a manifesto! They repeat it word for word.

Mayweather ALWAYS lets hype tell him who to fight. Right when the water is boiling... Fights made.

Manny ran when it was his turn to jump in the pot.

Yep, Floyd's the only guy who would take heat for fighting, Marquez, Mosley, and trying to fight Pacquiao. I mean, if anyone else fought those three names, they'd be christened. I still suspect Floyd and Pacquiao to fight, but I figure Floyd will have to give in to Pacquiao not wanting to be adequately drug tested. For whatever reason (draw your own conclusions) that is a serious sticking point for Pacquiao. Regardless, Floyd's out there to fight the best.

You can't defend Floyd for only fighting for money and then get angry when people accuse him of cherrypicking because he only takes the money fights.

Do you see the contradiction you bald_head_dick?

Damn you idiot. Why do you think the fights are so lucrative? The fights are the ones people want to see! How do you cherry pick the opponent that the public wants to see?

It becomes cherry picking when you clowns do your history revisions.

...So how is Floyd a cherrypicker, then, if he's fighting a guy who has the potential to beat him?

    Pathetic.

Fact: Floyd did nearly as many buys with Marquez as Pacquiao did with De La Hoya.
    Fact: Ouch.
