Do you still want Mayweather vs Thurman?

    What's the alternative to Thurman?

    Berto?

    Mayfield :conf

    Khan: :nono

    Yes, I'd rather see Thurman.

I DID want it but only because I'm a fan of both fighters. Now I want him to fight Brook or Khan.

    Enough to gain Floyd's respect.

Not really.... was hoping to see an improved Thurman out there tonight but hes the same fighter he was a few fights ago.

A mayweather fight has no interest for me at all.

I'd actually rather see Mayweather vs. Khan. The buildup would be better, and I think it would be a better fight as well.

I'm leaning towards Khan as well... didn't think I'd say it.

Really, the only fight that makes sense for FLoyd is to try and poach Cotto away from the Canelo fight.

None of these other fights will do anything for his legacy at this point. SO if he wants to ride off into the sunset with an easy final fight, there are guys he can pick that are less of a threat than Thurman (although I believe FLoyd would outbox him with relative ease.)

Besides Cotto, the only other match that makes sense is Pacman, and that's just from a financial standpoint only.

If Cotto goes through with his fight with ALvarez, than IMO it doesn't matter who FLoyd ends up picking. They'll all be considered a cherrypick by his critics anyway unless it's Gennady Golovkin.

Let's face it, 147 is weak and there's nobody who can beat FLoyd. His last fight
will be more anti-climactic than usual.

I think Kell Brook would be a good legacy fight for Floyd, it would have been even more so had Floyd held onto the WBO title.

I'd agree with that. It would've been nice to see a unification match for all the belts at WW.

I guess if I had to rate the WW's that are deserving of a fight it would probably be Brook>Thurman>Porter>Khan in that order.

I always wanted Khan if Cotto 2 wasn't a possibility, Khan will be walked down by round 4 but it'll be interesting for the first third, the others will all be UD'd easily and it'll be boring but impressive, but still lacking entertainment.

He will lose. Better to see him lose that 0 trying to clean out the WW division. There are several good matchups to be made.
