Do you think a young 154lb Roy Jones Jr would beat Floyd Mayweather Jr?

RJJ would have beat Floyd at 154.

He would be far to big for Floyd.

Jones is too big and powerful for Floyd and it's not like he wasn't quick either. I think he'd trounce him even if he wasn't on his roids. Too big, too powerful and very fast as well.

No glass jaw at 154. But those of you that say such thing have never competed in the square circle but want to treat yourself as you have

Well obviously. The number would be in the 100's of 154lb fighters who could beat Floyd.

Mayweather wouldn't have gone to 154 to fight RJJ and that's fair enough. Let's face it he wouldn't have gone to 147 in the SRL/Hearns era and with good reason, those guys are as talented and naturally larger men.

    Even if that were true:

Have you ever been a politician? No? I guess that means you can't have a valid opinion on politics. :nut:hi::hi:

I would suspect anybody who hints that they indeed have competed in the 'squared circle' themselves wouldn't be so dismissive of a fighter's guilt in a steroid scandal. Especially the dangers involved. :hi::hi:

I don't know, Roy was extremely inexperienced at 154, I think he outgrew the division extremely early in his career.

He would have been a zombie making 154 by the time he got some pro experience
