    I'm sure he was more confident, especially after the results of the 1st fight, but I'm sure he was still apprehensive, we are talking about Charles "Sonny" Liston as the opponent. King Kong may have been apprehensive fighting Liston, cause he was a bbbbbaaaaaadddd man!

    I know that Liston was scared by the rematch with Ali because he feared that someone would try and shoot Ali because of his religion, and instead accidentally shoot him. I don't think Ali was scared of Liston, I think that Ali truly believed he was better.

    Not at all. He beat Liston the first time and knew that he'd also beaten him badly psychologically.

    Not at all. Ali looks supremely confident in the rematch. Moves around the ring beautifully, looks much different in body language than he did in the first fight. Ali was sharp and confident in the rematch.
